Experience
I first began to tutor as a freshman in college when I attended Stevens Institute of Technology. I continued to tutor until I graduated with my undergraduate degree in mathematics. I tutored Physics and Calculus for three and a half years. This opened up opportunities for me to tutor off campus to high school students. Through this opportunity, I was able to tutor more levels of math and science subjects. My future goal is to attend medical school as I have completed all of my pre med requirements; however, I still plan to continue with tutoring as it is something that I truly enjoy doing. I know that I was very fortunate to have had excellent science and math teachers and I would love to pass that same experience on to others. When you have a solid foundation in a subject that is built on good instruction, it will make the higher levels much easier to comprehend. It is my wish to instill in my students the confidence they need to master their goals. Once they overcome their lack of confidence, they will have passed the greatest obstacle to their learning. With a solid understanding of the subject we are studying, I have no doubt my students can be successful.
